Kathryn earned her bachelor’s of science and doctorate of occupational therapy at Concordia University Wisconsin. She has enjoyed working with children and young adults in settings including nature center day camp, overnight summer camp, special education programs, and pediatric therapy clinics. Kathryn’s major areas of clinical experience include emotion regulation, executive functioning, social skills, motor coordination, and sensory integration. Kathryn’s doctoral capstone project researched the impact of COVID on students in special education. Kathryn loves collaborating with children and their families to ensure that therapy is connected to their everyday life. Working with children brings her joy – sometimes she forgets she is at work! When she is not at work, Kathryn might be found biking the Green Circle with her husband, searching for wildlife, or making gluten free waffles.
